Phase One Endurance entered a team of Damian Cudlin, James Haydon and James McBride in the first round of the 2008 world championship held at Le Mans on 19th /20th April. The race was held in very difficult cold, damp and wet conditions.

Yamaha Phase One Finish Le Mans 10th in Class

Yamaha Phase One Endurance have finished the 2008 Le Mans 24 Hour round of the Endurance FIM World Championship in 12^th place overall and 10^th in class after a six hour fight for position with Folch Yamaha.

The race was eventually won by the factory supported No.2 SERT Suzuki, after front runners Team Kawasaki France crashed out of the race and Yamaha GMT94 had an engine failure.

Yamaha Phase One have qualified in fifteenth position for the Le Mans 24 Hour race, the opening round of the Endurance FIM World Championship.

Team manager Russell Benney is confident that the team will climb rapidly through the field in the opening hours of the race:

Yamaha Phase One Endurance have today confirmed their rider line up for the 2008 FIM World Endurance Championship. James Haydon and Stephane Duterne will join Damian Cudlin on the team's Yamaha YZF-R1 Formula EWC race bikes.
