NEWSLETTER 143: 4th at Oschersleben

Damian Cudlin, Graeme Gowland and Sebastien Scarnato

A job well done !

News
Two very respectable results (4th at Osch and 13th at Suzuka) now put the team back on course after the first two crash infested races. Not only is the team back in the top ten of the WEC, but it is also going faster than ever before, with record lap times recorded at three of the four circuits visited; the exception being at Le Mans which was slower because of the appalling weather.

Add to that the discovery of the young British talent in the form of Graeme Gowland, who will join Damian Cudlin and Jörg Teuchert (yes, ex- world supersport champion and current German IDM top three man) at next month’s Bol d’Or, and we have a fantastic prospect.

I actually don’t know which will be most exciting – seeing Graeme build on his brilliant Osch performance, when he lapped consistently faster than his team mates and fitted into the team like he had been around for years, or working with a rider of Jörg’s quality, ability and speed. It’s the pre-Bol test next week and I can hardly wait!
